Vashti Bunyan & Brightblack Morning Light at The Great American Music Hall


Got the great opportunity to see Vashti Bunyan and Brightblack Morning Light perform at The Great American Music Hall here in San Francisco. I was psyched to get to listen to the magic of well done 70s inspired psych live. It was almost a spiritual experience.

Although the press is mostly of Nathan Shineywater and Rachael Hughes from Alabama, that night they had a percussionist and a girl named Mira playing the harp, and she told me they had to leave their other percussionist behind because they couldn't afford to bring him along on the tour. I bought the self titled album at the show.
