Today I headed north to the state's capital, Sacramento, to stand in front of the capitol with several thousand other people to protest budget cuts, fee increases and mismanagement of funds for education. I love the energy people united towards a good cause creates. This is the way we create change. I wish more people did more instead of just talking about the things they so call believe in. If you believe in something strongly, if you see something's wrong, speak out, do something. I believe in the power of community effort. It takes a village people! We are all in this together...
